Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Viewpoint Vista Systems Administrator with strong expertise in administering and supporting the Viewpoint Vista ERP system within construction, industrial, or service-based environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing Vista modules, SQL reporting, system administration, user support, and business process optimization while collaborating with Finance, HR, Operations, and Project Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Viewpoint Vista ERP environment.
- Manage user setup, security permissions, and module configurations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Support and optimize Vista modules including:
- Job Costing
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- HRIS
- Project Management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Viewpoint reporting tools.
- Lead testing, deployment, and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, system documentation, and standardized business processes.
- Provide Tier 1–3 end-user support and conduct user training sessions.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and other business teams to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Viewpoint Vista ERP.
- Experience working within Construction, Industrial, or Service-based organizations.
- Strong SQL development and reporting experience.
- Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, or similar reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of Job Costing, Accounting, Payroll, and HR workflows.
- Experience supporting multi-entity organizations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer support abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large multi-business-unit organizations.
- Experience with ERP upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
- Strong documentation and training experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business teams.
- Experience supporting field operations and enterprise ERP environments.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
