We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician or Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Ability to measure sample parts using various hand-held gages (calipers, micrometer, pin gages, height gage, etc). Knowledge of Faro and / or CMM strongly preferred.
- Summarize and report dimensional results of samples sent to the customer on a weekly basis
- Ability to read and understand basic GD&T is strongly preferred
- 8D root cause methodology and corrective action implementation
- Generating 8D reports (or other customer preferred formats) based on the results of investigation
- Gage R&R study
- Capability study / CpK – conduct and interpret
- Write standard work instructions for various manufacturing and / or inspection processes
- Conduct Incoming Inspection activities
- Familiar and able to read / update PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram
- Understanding of Run@Rate concepts
- Collecting manufacturing “reject data” and summarizing / presenting it in organized format to better understand continuous improvement opportunities
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
