The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for promoting mental health and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the patients.

Description
We are excited to announce an opening for a Wellness Center Coordinator at our Semoran office. As a Wellness Center Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive wellness program for IMA Medical Group patients. The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for promoting mental health and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates, plans, and facilitates health and fitness activities and programs for patients.
- Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, and fitness training that promote healthy lifestyles.
- Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, and class attendance.
- Host social events including Birthday parties, bingo, dominoes, handcraft, social dances, etc.
- Provides educational presentations and training programs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Assist the front office in daily tasks and answer phone calls when the center has downtime.
- Implement classes to promote healthy lifestyles like workshops for stress management, technology use, etc.
- Use our Wellness Center to instruct our patients in Zumba and exercise classes.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- 1 year experience as a Wellness Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Educator, Instructor, Tutor, Trainer, or related experience.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience ECW- eClinicalWorks (Preferred)
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
