Salary rate: $17/hr
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Healthcare Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis. This role is office-based in Bedford Heights, Ohio. The candidate must be detail-oriented and able to work independently. The ideal candidate has work experience in the home healthcare industry. As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will recruit staff and patients to our agency. You will report directly to the Director of Nursing.
Job Duties
- Build and maintain professional relationships with hiring managers and community stakeholders (social workers, community colleges, job fairs, etc) to support recruitment of patients and staff to help the agency grow
- Conduct screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and interest in available positions.
- Effectively communicate the agency’s culture, values, and mission to prospective patients and candidates during the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records.
- Provides regular updates and feedback on candidate progress to the Director of Nursing.
Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in home health care
- Knowledgeable about Medicare and Medicaid programs
- Able to work independent and shows initiative with assigned tasks
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to
Desirable qualifications
- AA degree
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Familiar with the East Cleveland community including healthcare agencies and stakeholders
