SUMMARY
Our finance assistant plays a crucial role in processing invoices, maintaining financial records with accuracy, and handling queries related to financial transactions. They are responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, tracking and processing financial transactions.
COMPENSATION:
- $24-$27 DOE
- Full-Time (40-hour week)
- Benefits (including medical vision, dental, 401K up to 3% match after 12 months and 21 years of age)
- 9 Holidays 1 floating holiday
- 1 Week Vacation at 1 year point and sick leave
- Accounts Payable
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper GL coding.
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor files.
- Answer vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- General Ledger / Bookkeeping
- Post journal entries and assist with month-end close.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly. Maintain general ledger and account reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping.
- Worked with Stock Invoicing.
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dynamic BC, ERP systems).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred (not required):
- Associate’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
- Willing and able to learn new software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
Preferred
- M365 Business Central Dynamics experience.
- Microsoft 365 experience.
