We’re looking for a friendly, service-oriented Member Services Representative (MSR) to join our team! If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and creating great member experiences, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
As an MSR, you’ll be the face of the Credit Union – helping members with transactions, answering questions, and connecting them with the right financial products and services. You’ll play a key role in building relationships, supporting financial wellness, and ensuring members receive the exceptional service we’re known for.
What You’ll Do:
Member Service & Support
- Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and via electronic channels.
- Handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide knowledgeable guidance on accounts and services.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional service environment.
Transactions & Account Services
- Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine financial transactions.
- Maintain and balance an assigned cash drawer and assist with vault/TCD/TCR operations.
- Help members with account maintenance, service requests, and digital banking support.
Product Knowledge & Cross-Selling
- Promote and cross-sell financial products that support members’ needs (loans, credit cards, savings options, etc.).
- Assist members with loan applications and provide basic lending information.
- Participate in promotional campaigns and outreach activities.
Compliance & Security
- Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Safeguard confidential member and Credit Union information.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to deliver seamless service.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development.
- Support department goals and contribute to a positive, cooperative workplace.

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of financial institution experience preferred; call center experience a plus.
- 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience with strong communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow regulations and policies.
- Strong math, reading comprehension, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift/move items up to 20 lbs. as needed.
- Must be able to pass background, credit history and bondability checks.
