Principal Project Civil Engineer - PE Licensed

Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8–12 years of relevant civil engineering experience (or 12–15 years of equivalent industry experience)
- Minimum of 3 years’ management/supervisory experience leading technical staff
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D

What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise design and technical staff, providing mentorship and guidance
- Manage construction documents, contracts, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals
- Oversee client and public-agency interactions, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication
- Direct conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies, addressing zoning, site constraints, and regulatory requirements
- Review constructability and provide construction support and field coordination
- Ensure compliance with jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures

- Working knowledge of regulatory processes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements in California
