They will lead all site operations and be fully accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and long-term operational planning.
- Ensure safe operations with a goal of zero accidents.
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality, logistics, purchasing, inventory, IT, and administrative functions.
- Achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost targets aligned with company’s objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, yield, and cost to produce.
- Develop, coach, and lead managers, supervisors, and team leaders across the site.
- Maintain strong employee engagement, performance management, and incentive programs.
- Ensure high product quality with minimal scrap and compliance to specifications.
- Manage plant financial performance and cost controls in coordination with corporate finance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities, regulators, suppliers, and vendors.
- Oversee capital projects, major equipment investments, and facility upkeep.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting and adherence to corporate systems and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from work experience
- 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, budgeting, and resource management.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and people development skills.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
- High integrity, professionalism, and credibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
