About the Opportunity
A well-established civil litigation defense firm is seeking an Insurance Fraud Litigation Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join its Complex Litigation Team in Los Angeles.
This role is ideal for an attorney with a background in insurance fraud claims and RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) actions involving individuals and corporations. The position involves civil recovery litigation and representing clients in both first- and third-party fraudulent claims and insurance coverage disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Examinations Under Oath (EUO) and take depositions
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Investigate claims and conduct coverage analysis
- Draft comprehensive coverage opinions
- Lead forensic investigations into fraudulent and bad faith insurance claims
- Perform strong legal research and draft high-quality written work

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of California
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $115,000 – $170,000, commensurate with experience
