Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations including receiving, storage, distribution, and shipping
- Ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operations
- Maintain strong operational flow and service performance
- Hire, train, and develop operations staff
- Set schedules, assign responsibilities, and enforce accountability
- Build a high-performance, team-oriented culture
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Maintain accurate inventory control processes
- Utilize WMS/ERP systems to track and optimize inventory
- Ensure alignment between system data and physical inventory
- Establish and monitor KPIs such as productivity, inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and service levels
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Improve throughput and operational performance
- Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to operational best practices
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across multiple clients
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and expand services
- Partner with executive leadership on long-term growth strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or energy sectors
- Experience managing multi-client operations
- Exposure to rail access and project cargo operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and accessing various work areas
- Comfortable performing both hands-on and administrative duties
