Must-Haves (Required Qualifications):
Ignition by Inductive Automation experience or certification (REQUIRED)
Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming experience (REQUIRED)
5 years in an industrial Electrical Technician or Electrical Engineering role
Electrical Engineering Technology degree (2- or 4-year) or related field
Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
Level 2 programming capability (SQL, ODATA, Python)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to provide regional engineering leadership across multiple plant sites. This role focuses heavily on Ignition (SCADA) development and deployment, electrical project support, and automation troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both strategically and in the field alongside maintenance teams.
This position is primarily based in Virginia with additional support responsibilities in South Carolina and Georgia. Candidates located in Abingdon, Princeton, or Bluefield, VA are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead corporate Ignition installations across plant locations
Develop and support SCADA screens, scripting, and system integrations
Provide plant electrical support, equipment installations, and troubleshooting
Work with KPVs, PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs in production environments
Support and develop preventive maintenance (PM) programs
Oversee scope and execution of plant electrical engineering projects
Partner with maintenance teams during startups and issue resolution
Ensure strong adherence to safety standards through audits and observations
Manage assigned engineering projects from concept through completion
Preferred Experience:
Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming (strongly preferred)
AutoCAD Electrical and control system design
Automation or robotics exposure
Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
