Illusions Food Company is a locally owned wholesale manufacturing bakery located in Anchorage, Alaska. We prepare a large quantity of baked goods and deli items each day, including cookies, muffins, brownies, cakes, bars/squares, biscotti, scones, cinnamon rolls, etc.

We are looking for a fabulous person to help us pull and fill orders. This position works directly with our delivery driver and acts as back up delivery driver. Starting pay of at least $20; depends on experience and skill level.

Illusions full-time employees are here 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Monday - Friday. No evening or weekend work available. NOTE: Occasionally minimal overtime is necessary to complete delivery orders for the day.

General Job Description / Responsibilities:

* Fulfill orders of Illusions Food Company products (many items stored in freezer) accurately and efficiently based on delivery routes and customer pick-up time.
* Work directly with Delivery Driver (or other staff) to accurately pull and fill each order.
* Work independently to pull and/or fill orders when driver is away delivering.
* Keep filled orders organized on shelves and carts in freezer.
* Keep daily and upcoming order paperwork organized accurately.
* Assist Delivery Driver with loading delivery van for daily run(s).
* Interact positively and professionally with customers and staff.
* Provide completed orders to walk-in customers.
* Accurately count several hundred products daily.
* Work with management, bakers, and staff throughout each day to determine which products need to be produced, based on inventory levels and outstanding orders.
* Work with staff to ensure all products are produced and available in levels sufficient to fulfill orders.
* Stock inventory in freezer as products are completed by production team.
* Help receive and put away incoming ingredients.
* Keep working areas (inside, outside, in freezer/cooler) organized, clean, maintained and safe.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

* Position goes in the freezer frequently; must come prepared with cold weather coat, hat, and gloves.
* Must have valid Alaska Driver’s License for at least one year and a clean driving history.
* Inventory fulfillment experience strongly preferred.
* MUST be able to multitask and switch between multiple tasks quickly and effectively.
* MUST be able to work as part of a team as well as independently once delivery driver is on route.
* Ability to accurately count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
* Ability to write/print legibly on paperwork and boxes.

Physical Demands:

* Transporting orders to front office for customer pickup.
* Include but are not limited to: balancing, bending, carrying, climbing (foot stool or ladder), kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, squatting, standing, twisting, walking.
* Ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 30 pounds at all times.
* Exposure to extreme temperatures (cooler, freezer, oven, outside, etc.)
* Ability to move through the bakery multiple times daily or stand for extended periods of time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Ability to fluently speak, read, and understand the English language.
* Commercial bakery and/or manufacturing production experience preferred.
* State of Alaska or Municipality of Anchorage Food Workers Card (within 30 days of hire) and/or ServSafe Certification.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
