Responsibilities
- Operate various warehouse equipment including reach forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently.
- Handle shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper packaging, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment for timely delivery.
- Conduct manual handling of materials with heavy lifting techniques while adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist with construction or manufacturing-related tasks when required, utilizing mechanical knowledge and technical proficiency.
- Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA guidelines, and participating in safety protocol training.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in inventory control tasks.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory data.
