Position Overview

The Division of Family and Community Resources is seeking to hire an Office Associate to perform a variety of complex specialized clerical support duties for supervisory staff in support of the Family Community Resource Center (FCRC) daily operations. This position prepares, receives, and files documents; processes record and performs general office support functions involving FCRC processes and/or methods requiring application of agency policies and procedures; determines work methods and procedures to complete assignments; and provides information/assistance to explain/clarify rules, processes, or procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Keyboards a variety of correspondence. 
  • Prepares and maintains complex, highly specialized records and reports.
  • Receives telephone calls, determines the nature of the calls. 
  • Maintains and organizes customer/appeals files. 
  • Provides clerical office support. 
  • Receives and distributes mail, manual releases, and memos. 
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
  • Requires two (2) years of office experience.
  • Requires ability to keyboard accurately at a 45 wpm.

Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch.
