Carpenter Apprentice

Duties & Responsibilities

• Construction and installation of partition walls, ceiling, floor coverings, new doors and door hardware, modular furniture, shingles, trim, cabinetry, concrete formwork, scaffolding, windows, and other duties peculiar to and normally required by the trade of Carpentry.
• Maintenance and repairs on floors, ceilings, doors, sash, screens, wood shingles, modular furniture, manual projection screens cooling towers, class room seating, tablet arm chairs and other duties peculiar to and normally required in the trade of Carpentry.
• Installation of shelving, chalk and display boards, plaques, clocks, fire extinguishers, pictures, and all other types of wall hangings normally required in the Carpentry trade.
• Cleans up jobsite upon completion of project.
• Responsible for proper use and care of carpenter equipment and tools.
• Drive and operate service vehicles used for carpentry maintenance, installations, or repairs.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
