IMMEDIATE HIRE
Illinois Valley Economic Development Corporation is looking to hire a part-time Meal Transporter for the Carrollton Senior Center.
JOB DUTIES:
- Load/unload meal containers for delivery and pick-up
- Maintain and follow meal delivery route sheets
- Document messages and undeliverable meals and inform Site Manager at the end of shift, daily
- Accept and document meal donations from clients and turn in to Site Manager on a daily basis
- Drive delivery vehicle to/from meal sites and to client homes for meal delivery
- Perform daily pre-inspection and post-inspection on vehicles and document on vehicle report
- Document fuel purchases, maintenance required, and keep vehicles clean
- Assist with kitchen clean-up, as needed, at the end of the shift
- Attend all nutrition staff meetings, as required
- Maintain confidentiality of client, agency, and program information
- Ability to complete Food Handler Certification (within 30 days of employment)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with good driving record
- Valid personal automobile insurance
