Now, we’re hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to help us continue delivering outstanding care and outcomes at our Barrington clinic.
The Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll coordinate and deliver high-quality care throughout the surgical process—from pre-op to post-op and discharge. You’ll be a critical part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for each patient undergoing a procedure. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role where evidence-based practices, compassion, and accountability go hand in hand.
What You’ll Do:
Clinical Assessment & Planning
Obtain and document comprehensive nursing history
Perform physical assessments; record and monitor vital signs
Identify abnormal diagnostic data and communicate findings
Develop individualized care plans with attention to shift transitions
Surgical Support & Care Delivery
Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to implement care goals
Guide patients through surgical intervention safely
Supervise non-professional staff in delivery of patient care
Monitor and document patient response throughout care
Maintain compliance with protocols, policies, and nursing standards
Professional Growth & Compliance
Attend educational sessions, unit conferences, and stay current on best practices
Uphold facility values, ethical standards, and evidence-based procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Nursing required
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required
BLS certification required
At least 1 year of experience in the OR and/or PACU required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) preferred
Skills & Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication
High-level interpersonal and customer service skills
Advanced understanding of patient care best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Able to assess consciousness and interpret vital signs accurately
Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Use hands for tasks requiring fine motor skills
Lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally; push up to 300 lbs
Clear vision and depth perception required
Communicate clearly with or without accommodations
