Now, we’re seeking a Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) to help us deliver safe, high-quality care during interventional procedures.
The Opportunity
As a Radiology Technician at our Omaha Ambulatory Surgery Center, you’ll play a vital role in supporting intra-operative procedures and ensuring optimal imaging results for physicians and patients alike. You’ll collaborate with both clinical and nursing teams to deliver efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment — where every image you capture directly impacts patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Imaging & Procedure Support
Perform intra-operative radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in compliance with protocols and safety standards
Operate, calibrate, and position C-Arm and imaging equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic results
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals or contrast agents as required
Patient Communication & Clinical Collaboration
Communicate timely, accurate information to Registered Nurses and physicians
Assist nursing staff with patient care and procedure room management
Maintain clear, prompt patient records and documentation
Safety & Compliance
Minimize radiation exposure using protective techniques, shielding, and accurate exposure settings
Adhere to infection-control policies, drug protocols, and emergency procedures
Complete annual mandatory training and monitor/document lead apron integrity
Equipment & Inventory Management
Sterilize, maintain, and report equipment malfunctions
Monitor inventory, anticipate supply needs, place orders, and verify deliveries
Handle administrative duties including labeling, logs, and forms

Qualifications
Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited program (required)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and ARRT registration (required)
Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting
Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Able to lift/move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally
Ability to push equipment up to 300 lbs
Use of both hands for reaching and handling
Visual acuity for close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
