ASC Director of Nursing

Full-Time | $90,000–$120,000/year | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (schedule may vary based on operational needs)

The Opportunity
As ASC Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center, ensuring procedural needs are met efficiently and safely. You’ll lead staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and directly impact patient care and operational flow, combining strategic leadership with hands-on oversight.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Culture
Promote positive customer relations among staff and physicians.
Maintain a collaborative team environment and champion staff satisfaction.
Oversee all ASC staff, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
Compliance & Quality
Review complaints and conduct root-cause analyses; initiate QAPI studies.
Ensure compliance with CMS ASC SOM and Joint Commission regulations.
Oversee daily, quarterly, annual, and QAPI reports.
Operations & Patient Flow
Ensure adequate staffing and efficient scheduling.
Monitor life safety, infection control, and radiation safety.
Conduct safety drills and coordinate staff and safety meetings.
Staff Training & Development
Implement orientation, ongoing training, and competency programs.
Ensure non-clinical staff meet professional and regulatory standards.
Continuously improve operational knowledge through networking and education.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years’ clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
ACLS and BLS certification required; Infection Preventionist certification preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet software.
Proven ability to manage, train, and lead clinical and non-clinical teams.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond calmly in emergent situations.
Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and organizational skills.
Must complete all regulatory competencies prior to ASC work.
