Position: Grant Program, Admissions & Social Media Coordinator

ILLINOIS NURSING ACADEMY, in partnership with our nonprofit arm JOB CORE, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team
Job Overview:
This multi-functional role supports our mission by:
- Interviewing and evaluating candidates for grant funding through JOB CORE
- Assisting with the admissions process for Illinois Nursing Academy
- Leading daily social media content creation and promotion to drive new student interest
You'll work closely with prospective students, helping them start their healthcare careers through both financial access and clear, supportive guidance from application to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
JOB CORE / Grant Support
- Interview and screen potential grant recipients
- Collect and manage documentation
- Explain program qualifications, deadlines, and steps
- Maintain accurate records of applicants and grant status
Admissions Support
- Assist prospective students through the admissions process
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and social media
- Coordinate with the admissions team to track leads and enrollment progress
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create and post engaging content daily (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Promote classes, student stories, and campus events
- Design visuals, write captions, and track engagement metrics
- Help grow brand awareness and attract new student leads
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in admissions, HR, or community outreach
- Strong grasp of social media platforms and content trends
- Graphic design and video editing skills a plus (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Self-motivated and organized; can multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Position Type:
- Part-time or Full-time (flexible schedule)
- On-site at our Midlothian campus
- Salary based on experience
