Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients.
- Provide patient observation to identify any changes in condition or needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of care provided and any changes in client status.
- Support clients in mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home community care or assisted living is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client health and report any concerns promptly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence and quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
