Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Community Manager to serve as the vital link between residents, property teams, and service providers. This energetic professional will foster vibrant, inclusive communities by managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will leverage their property management expertise and legal administrative experience to create a welcoming environment that promotes resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly with a friendly, professional approach
- Perform regular unit walks for lease violations, property condition
- Work 40 hours between two properties that are 5 minutes apart
- Oversee leasing processes, including property tours, application processing, and lease signing, utilizing property management software such as OneSite
- Must be able to marketing property using varous methods such as FB, traditional marketing using flyers, cards, building relationships to obtain more leads, TiKTok
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines
- Manage rent collection, data entry, filing, and maintenance of accurate records using property management systems
- Coordinate property maintenance requests to ensure they are completed in a timely manner with existing dedicated maintenance staff.
- Conduct conflict management and negotiation to resolve disputes effectively while maintaining positive relationships
- Upsell available amenities or services to enhance resident experience and retention
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management, leasing,
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures
- Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software
- Excellent customer service skills paired with effective phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, contracts management, and upselling amenities or services
- Office experience including data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual fluency in English and another language to serve diverse communities effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and compliance documentation
