POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
PART-TIME CUSTODIAN
WABASH VALLEY COLLEGE | MT. CARMEL, IL
DESCRIPTION: This is a part-time position reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Team Leader at Wabash Valley College. The duties include, but are not limited to: cleaning assigned areas following a well-established routine, general manual work, assisting with building/campus activity set up, and other tasks which are semi-skilled in nature. This position includes occasional change to hours and weekend shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The position requires a broad knowledge of cleaning methods; materials and equipment; ability to understand and follow oral and written directions; as well as ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous, repetitive basis also required.
HOURS: Estimated less than 30 hours per week.
WAGES: $15.00 per hour, based upon relevant experience and qualifications.
