## Essential Functions

• Under administrative direction, serves as an Advanced Web
  
  

Development/Support Technical Specialist for the Department of

Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Department of Commerce

& Economic Opportunity (DCEO) performing complex professional and

advisory functions within the DoIT/ DCEO Technical Services section.

• Develops, modifies, tests and maintains the Agency web site
  
  

utilizing web-based technologies and development tools.

• Provides application support for international travelers from the
  
  

Agency.

• Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology
  
  

field by continuing education through online training platforms,

meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase

familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors,

techniques, and procedures.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably
  
  

within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

## Minimum Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to
  
  

four (4) years of college with courses in computer science or in a

related field.

• Requires three (3) years of professional experience in web
  
  

development or a related Information Technology field.
