- Support peer tutoring programs to help students succeed.
- Develop and share study skills and learning materials.
- Assist with student success workshop materials and content delivery.
- Support students and faculty in the current academic environment.
- Contribute to effective tutoring strategies for specific courses.
- Provide overall academic support in assigned subject.
- Professional, knowledgeable and patient at all times.
- Help create a positive learning atmosphere within the Academic Support Program at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries with students.
- Prepare supplemental materials Specific to subject.
- Perform related duties as require.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Associate's degree or higher in related field.
- Two to three years of experience working in an academic learning environment.
- Experience working with both neurodiverse and neurotypical learners.
- Experience facilitating workshops designed to support student learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
- Prior enrollment and completion in the selected course.
- Experience with Academic Software applications.
- Experience working in an online learning environment.
- Experience working in higher education.
Salary : $18 - $22
