Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology practice. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in office while collaborating closely with our physicians. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. We will be considering for either a full time position or a part time position, depending on your availability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to gather accurate health information.
- Prescribe medications and help develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and current care standards.
- Assist in the management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Utilize the electronic health record (EHR) system, eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and medical records management.
Experience
- Experience working with cardiology patient populations including patients 18 and older is preferred.
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation is helpful.
- Some knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for billing and documentation purposes.
- While new grads with prior nursing experience in a cardiology department will be considered for this position, experience in the role of nurse practitioner or physician assistant is preferred.

Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
