Job Summary:
Illicit Gardens is looking for a meticulous and experienced Kitchen MIP Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, production, and quality control of manufactured infused products in our kitchen. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety standards, and a strong understanding of infusion techniques and processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and production of infused products, ensuring consistency and quality

Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment used in the production of infused products

Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to established recipes and protocols

Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards

Document production processes, inventory usage, and batch records

Collaborate with the kitchen team to improve processes and product quality

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in infusion techniques
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a kitchen or food production environment

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency

Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for 5-hour increments, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
