What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Formation Associate position at Illapa Search?

The Position:


A top global law firm are currently seeking a Fund Formation Attorney with two or more years of private investment fund formation experience. Experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds is also desired as well as completing fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions (i.e., involving the general partner and management company entities) and secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests.

This firms fund formation team have been building funds globally for over sixty years! They advise on every type of fund formation: venture capital, fund of funds, private equity, evergreen, growth equity and other managers at all stages and sizes, from individual angel funds to billion-dollar institutional funds. The team consist of over 60 fund formation lawyers and their clients include funds as small as $5 million to funds of $1 billion or more!
