Position Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, positive, and dependable Swim Team Coaches to lead and inspire our Swimmers. Coaches will work with swimmers of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, teamwork, and personal growth in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily swim practices for assigned age groups
- Teach stroke technique, starts, turns, and race strategy
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in swimmers
- Supervise swimmers during practices and swim meets
- Communicate effectively with parents, swimmers, and staff
- Assist with meet organization and team events
- Help with light pool deck setup and cleanup before/after practices and meets
Qualifications
- Competitive swimming experience (high school, club, or higher)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and work with children and teens
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be at least 18
- Previous coaching or teaching experience
- Lifeguard certification (a plus)
- Experience working in a private club or team environment
- Fun, energetic summer environment
