What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider position at Iliuliuk Family and Health Services, Inc.?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled advanced practice provider to provide locum’s coverage to the community of Unalaska/Port of Dutch Harbor and fishing fleet of the Bering Sea. Iliuliuk Family and Health Services is an FQHC that also provides urgent and emergent care for the island 24/7; this is a rural healthcare setting. The APP should possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously while being an effective team player collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The APP will be required to provide primary and acute care services to patients of all ages. The APP will participate in an on-call rotation to provide urgent and emergency care that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The APP must have a current license as nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the State of Alaska, a current DEA license, current ACLS/PALS certification as well as ATLS/CALS.
