Pay: $18.00 per hour Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic distribution team. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in warehouse environments and possess the skills necessary to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This position offers opportunities for growth within warehouse management and distribution functions, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations.DutiesManage inventory control using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels.WILL BE UNLOADOING CONTAINER.Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers in compliance with OSHA standards.Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials during shipping and receiving processes.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision to meet fulfillment deadlines.Stock shelves and organize warehouse space for optimal accessibility and safety.Assist in packaging products securely for transportation while maintaining quality standards.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and mechanical knowledge requirements.Support warehouse supervision by participating in inventory audits, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.Operate warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track inventory movements and order statuses.ExperiencePrevious experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments is preferred.Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.Mechanical aptitude or mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures.Warehouse supervisor experience or background in warehouse management systems will be considered an asset.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during stock replenishment or order fulfillment tasks.
