FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist with Operations and Logistical department
-Handle shipment scheduling, planning, updating and shipment tracking
-Organizing and overseeing international freight shipments from start to finish
-Coordinating transportation delivery logistics with overseas suppliers, domestic trucking companies and warehouses, and international shipping carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery to clients
-Update clients on shipment schedule/status as needed
-Filing and data entry
-Collaborate with other company departments to ensure timely shipping
-Handle customer service issues as needed, such as researching and resolving shipment discrepancies, damages or service quality issues
-Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with Customs/import/export regulations
-Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives.
Proactively re-engaging existing leads to validate interest and facilitate next steps in international shipping and forward to sales for further assistance
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Microsoft Products General knowledge: Word/Excel/one drive·
-Detailed oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy and precision with electronic and paper records
-Professional people and communication skills, particularly with telephone and email
-Operating in a collaborative environment with other company departments to meet department and company goals
-Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
-Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
