Catering Assistant

Position: Catering & Delivery Assistant 
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Catering & Delivery Assistant to support our catering operations and ensure seamless delivery experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves hospitality, and takes pride in providing exceptional service. You will be the link between our kitchen, clients, and delivery team, ensuring every order is accurate, timely, and exceeds expectations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Order Coordination & Execution 

• Assist with organizing and preparing catering orders according to client specifications. 

• Confirm order details, packaging, and presentation meet brand standards. 

• Coordinate with kitchen staff and delivery drivers to ensure timely dispatch. 

Delivery Management 

• Schedule and track deliveries for multiple locations and events. 

• Communicate with clients regarding delivery times and special instructions. 

• Resolve any delivery issues promptly and professionally. 

  Service & Support 

• Serve as a point of contact for catering inquiries and order updates. 

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. 

• Assist with on-site catering setups when needed. 

Inventory & Supplies 

• Monitor catering supplies and packaging materials; report shortages. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering prep areas. 

Administrative Support 

• Assist with invoicing, order documentation, and record-keeping. 

• Support the catering manager with event logistics and planning.

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service preferred. 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. 

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and early mornings as needed.
