What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Specialist position at ILIFE LLC?
Job Purpose: The Vendor Specialist is responsible for verifying, resolving, and entering various documents ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations. This involves a variety of duties from processing payment, resolving payment errors, and providing personalized support to providers experiencing difficulties.

- Communicates and collaborates with people who use iLIFE services to address errors in payments, submission/processing of claims, and budget discrepancies.
- Monitors and tracks invoice punches in our payroll system are entered and recorded correctly.
- Reviews, analyzes, problem solves, and troubleshoots invoice payment inquires in a timely manner.
- Ensures data remains accurate for billing and payroll before being released to outside agencies.
- Meets invoice metrics which include manual daily entries and retention of paperwork.
- Transcribes comments to software system/program care notes accurately and timely.
- Communicates trends and process improvements to management to help develop efficiencies within areas.
- Understands and processes transit ticket and accessibility assessments as required.
- Escalates over-authorizations and discrepancies in payment when needed.
- Cross-trains to learn the work of other departmental staff to provide an effective back-up when needed.
- Takes initiative to provide feedback for process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: High school education or equivalency required. College degree preferred.
Minimum Required Experience:

- Preferred two to four years of experience in payroll processing.
- Preferred one year of experience in EVV systems.
- Preferred two years of customer service experience.
