Baker

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Baker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and pastries and providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Baker, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our café while ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the cash register for processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the coffee bar and seating areas.
• Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist in restocking as needed.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly environment, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Proficiency in using POS systems.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register operations accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
