Warehouse Operator

Job Type: Warehousing / Full Time – 7am to 3pm / Compensation - $19.38/hr. after 60day probation.

Job Description: Packaging and warehousing of animal feed grade Calcium Carbonate products, utilizing pneumatic bagging equipment and semi-automatic Palletizers. One can expect to learn all aspects of the warehouse operations including loading and unloading of van trailers, offloading of Rail Hopper cars, and inventory control on all products. Rotational work schedule with warehouse staff in housekeeping duties for production facility and some preventive maintenance activities on equipment.

Essential Functions:

- Complete and be Competent of MSHA 24hr New Miner training

- Packaging and Palletizing of Products into 50Ib bags

- Inventory control with data entry into accounting system

- Use of forklift in Loading and Unloading of Van Trailers with pallets of finished product

- Off-loading of Rail Hopper Cars

- Housekeeping in Facilities

- Cross training as desired in our facets of the facility operations

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age

- High School diploma or GED or equivalent

- Valid Driver’s License

- Self-starter and dependable, with good work ethics

- Good basic math and reading skills

- Flexible to overtime as needed, including weekends

- Physical requirements would include routine lifting, up to 50Ib, climbing, bending and some twisting

- Able to work in non-climate control environments including conditions of hot, cold, dusty, and noisy areas of the facility

- Successful completion of background check with pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
