Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle food safety and sanitation procedures diligently, including proper food handling and cleanliness standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately at the end of each shift
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations and address any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours in both restaurant and nightclub settings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, bussing, and host/hostess duties preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering transactions
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and guest relations abilities
- Previous nightclub or hospitality experience is advantageous
