What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Telecom Engineer position at IKOS GROUP?

As part of this strategic growth, we are currently looking for Jr. Telecom Engineers to support a large scale RF upgrade project in NYC
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed an associates, bachelor or master’s degree in telecommunications, IT, or engineering
- Previous internship experience within IT, telecommunications, or transportation fields
Activities:
- Perform day-to-day monitoring of the backhaul network
- Provide helpdesk support
- Create tickets within JIRA platform
- Provide on-site testing and troubleshooting of handheld radio devices, and network.
- Monitor the system with internal proprietary tools and SolarWinds
- Escalate issues and coordinate with engineering, project management and field teams
