This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.

Role: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities across the plant. This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities
- Coordinate required resources including labor, tools, and parts for efficient job execution
- Develop weekly and outage work scopes for hourly maintenance personnel
- Maintain and build equipment records, bill of materials, and asset data in CMMS
- Create, schedule, and close out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in CMMS
- Continuously improve and adjust PM programs to maximize equipment uptime
- Track and manage spare parts inventory and equipment documentation
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical design experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks
