Role: Shipper/Receiver
Job Summary: One of the key roles of the Shipper/Receiver is to assure safe loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products. Must be committed to safe forklift operation and have the ability to work from a pick list.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to safely operate a sit down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification
- Must be comfortable working outside in the elements
- Communicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety
- requirements for loading/unloading materials
- Ability to think on your feet in identifying from the pick list where the material is located either in the yard or warehouse
- Identify where product is located in the yard by utilizing the identifying signs
- Able to use FIFO system correctly to pull pallets for loading
- Guide the truck drivers where they need to go in order to be safely loaded/unloaded
- Must be willing to learn other job duties in shipping and scale house
- Knowledge of railcar unloading process, Trackmobile operation and railroad safety
- Must adhere to all IKO safety policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally authorization to work in U.S.
- Must be able to pass a forklift certification class and test
- Must be able to read a pick list
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary, which could include weekends
- Must be able to pass a fit for duty Physical
- Must be able to lift up to 76 lbs. unassisted
Starting at: $21.63 per hour.
