We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure the successful execution of our construction projects. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day job site activities, maintaining quality control, and coordinating subcontractors to meet project goals efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Department Manager, your role will include:
- Oversee daily job site operations and short-term scheduling
- Coordinate staffing needs and participate in hiring decisions
- Attend preconstruction meetings and site orientations
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and inspection procedures
- Manage field office setup, temporary services, and equipment logistics
- Collaborate with Project Manager on scheduling and procurement
- Monitor labor reports and field staff performance
- Enforce safety policies and conduct weekly safety meetings
- Maintain quality control and resolve on-site conflicts
- Submit required documentation and timecards promptly
- Participate in project closeout and walk-throughs
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience
- Completion of a State Union Apprenticeship program
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and construction law
- High School diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
