Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Power Platform Consultant for an on-site contract role based in Washington, DC, with a requirement to work 4 days per week on-site.
The consultant will design, develop, implement, and optimize enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and Vibe Power Apps. The role will support business process automation, digital transformation, data integration, and AI-enabled business solutions.
The consultant will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, designing scalable solutions, developing applications and workflows, integrating enterprise data sources, troubleshooting and optimizing existing solutions, and ensuring solutions meet security, performance, usability, and compliance standards.
The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective low-code/no-code solutions. The consultant will also provide technical guidance, solution documentation, user training, and support for adoption of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
- Develop Canvas Apps and modern Power Apps solutions based on business requirements and user experience needs.
- Build automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and Power BI integrations to provide actionable business insights.
- Design and manage data models using Dataverse and other Microsoft data platforms.
- Build integrations with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Develop serverless integrations and backend capabilities using Azure Functions where required.
- Implement Active Directory (AD / Microsoft Entra ID) integrations, authentication, authorization, and role-based access.
- Use Copilot Studio to design and implement conversational AI, copilots, and intelligent business-process experiences.
- Leverage Vibe Power Apps and emerging AI-assisted development capabilities to accelerate application development and modernization.
- Configure and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards for backlog management, sprint planning, work tracking, and delivery visibility.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs.
- Conduct process mapping, data modeling, solution architecture, and technical design activities.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, APIs, Azure services, and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI solutions, and integrations.
- Apply performance optimization and Power Platform best practices to improve reliability, scalability, and usability.
- Ensure solutions follow enterprise security, governance, compliance, and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and non-technical users through workshops, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.
- Create technical documentation, configuration guides, solution designs, process documentation, and user guides.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and training to end users and support teams.
- Participate in solution deployment, release management, production support, and continuous improvement activities.

- Prior consulting experience with enterprise clients and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform Developer, Power BI, Azure, or related certifications are an advantage.
