What You'll Do
- Install and service large-scale, networked low-voltage security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling
- Support integrated solutions such as life safety, audio-visual, building automation, and endpoint security
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure systems are delivered on time and to the highest standards
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems to meet customer needs
- Represent IK Systems as a trusted partner on-site, building strong customer relationships
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of experience in low-voltage installation and service
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel (<100% nationally) until further notice
- Work performed at this location involves low voltage security system installation and service in Charles County, Maryland. Per county requirements, technicians performing this work must hold - or be eligible to obtain - a Charles County Restricted Master Electrician License. This county-issued credential covers low voltage alarm and security system installation and is distinct from a full electrician's license. Candidates holding an equivalent Restricted Master license from another Maryland jurisdiction may qualify for reciprocity. A current Certificate of Insurance is required to maintain active license status.
