Japanese Speaking Researcher (Native Level)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid | Up to 2 days/week remote)

About the Role
A major Japanese financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Japanese-speaking Researcher (Native Level). The successful candidate will start as a contract employee, with strong potential to be converted to full-time. You will attend high-level seminars and hearings, analyze information, and produce professional reports and presentations in Japanese.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend assigned seminars (e.g., think tank sessions, government-related hearings) and prepare Japanese reports & summaries (Field: Geopolitical, Energy, International Affairs, American Politics, Finance, Economics,Trading, Diplomatic, Energy, Infrastructure. etc)
- Create presentation materials using PowerPoint, including graphs and tables
- Build and maintain your own information resources and research network
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Native-level Japanese writing ability
- Strong English proficiency
- 3 years of Researcher / Analyst experience
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills

Salary : $54,600 - $63,700
