As a B2B Client Sales Advisor, you’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship to build a strong foundation in direct B2B sales. In this role, you’ll thrive as a B2B Client Sales Advisor by engaging with small to mid-sized businesses in the Columbus area, conducting tailored needs assessments, and presenting AT&T Business solutions—such as fiber internet, wireless, voice, and cybersecurity. Essential Functions of the B2B Client Sales Advisor Role
- Identify and connect with local B2B clients in the Columbus area through on-site visits, cold calls, networking, and lead generation—promoting AT&T Business services.
- Hold strategic conversations with decision-makers to uncover telecom pain points, infrastructure needs, and business priorities.
- Deliver compelling presentations of AT&T Business solutions—including fiber internet, wireless, voice, and cybersecurity—tailored to each client’s challenges.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach and proposal to negotiation and contract finalization.
- Build lasting business relationships by serving as a trusted advisor for evolving telecom needs.
- Hit and exceed personal sales goals through consistent outreach and new B2B account activations.
- Gather field insights to help shape local sales strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress in the CRM system, supporting performance tracking and reporting.
Education & Experience Needed for the B2B Client Sales Advisor Role
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Up to 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, or other public-facing roles with strong interpersonal engagement.
- Entry-level candidates welcome—especially those with a competitive mindset, strong work ethic, and a passion for learning B2B sales. Paid training included.
- Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Comfortable using tablets and CRM tools to manage client interactions and sales activity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
