Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a pristine environment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold flooring standards.
- Execute janitorial and custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all spaces are tidy and organized.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Support industrial cleaning projects as needed, including high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety standards related to custodial work.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards.
