Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Communication Leadership : Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support Coherent’s business objectives and reinforce its market leadership. Oversee corporate external communications, media and public relations, and thought leadership initiatives. Partner with Investor Relations to support communication strategies and efforts including planning and execution for events like the upcoming Investor Day in May 2025 Play a key role in enhancing relationships with industry analysts, policymakers, and business partners to advance the company’s interests and reputation. Elevate Coherent’s profile and thought leadership, ensuring consistent and compelling storytelling across all communication channels. Help create content and talking points for executive media interviews, external events, analyst / investor days, and related public engagements. Elevate executive voices on specific topics aligned with Coherent’s strategy through high-profile news and digital media features, events, speaking engagements and other published written pieces. Help coordinate social media strategy for the CEO and executive team, with a focus on leveraging platforms to drive engagement across priority audiences and topics.
