'Summary'
II Corps is seeking a Multimedia Specialist (MMS) that are experts in animation, interactive web content, graphic design, and audio/video editing. They are skilled in HTML5, cascading style sheet (CSS), JavaScript, 508 accessibility compliance, and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, etc.). The MMS will create web-based training (WBT), instructor/facilitator guides, student guides, PowerPoint presentations, Blackboard content, etc. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for multimedia production.'
'Responsibilities'
' Develop, edit, and produce high-quality multimedia content including videos, graphics, and animations.
- Design and develop instructional materials meeting organizational training objectives
- Apply instructional design principles for effective learning outcomes
- Create graphics, animations, and interactive elements
- Utilize HTML5/CSS/JavaScript for custom interactions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information
- Test and evaluate training materials for effectiveness
Job Requirements (minimum): Qualified candidates must have 10 years of experience as a Multimedia Specialist or similar role, with demonstrated proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Lectora, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and Adobe Creative Suite. Candidates need working knowledge of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript for custom interaction development, strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, understanding of SCORM and Section 508 compliance, excellent communication skills for collaborating with subject matter experts, and ability to manage multiple sensitive projects while maintaining security protocols. A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is preferred.
