Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing menu recommendations.
Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, utilizing culinary experience to enhance service quality.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and orders simultaneously.
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Background in quick service & fast food restaurants or café environments is advantageous.
