Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Clear tables efficiently, bussing as needed to maintain cleanliness
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or nightclub settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills with guest relations and sales experience including upselling techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory
